(Casper, Wyo.) – Reports indicate that grass fire is currently burning close to Ridgecrest Drive and 25th Street.
It’s no secret that Wyoming is known for its outdoor recreation, and statewide there have been recent efforts to improve the way people get around in their own communities. And now, the University of Wyoming has joined the club: the League of American Bicyclists has recognized UW as a Bicycle Friendly University.
Natrona County School District art students are creating one ceramic poppy for each Wyoming soldier who has died in wartime, going back to the Spanish-American War.
On the evening of November 5th, the Wyoming Highway Patrol investigated a double fatal crash within the city limits of Douglas, Wyoming. The two fatalities have been identified as Douglas residents Justin Morgan and Leo Herandez, both 17 years of age.
Natrona County Commissioners awarded Reiman Corporation the contract to make updates to the Alcova Bridge
(Natrona County, Wyo.) – The Natrona County Commissioners approved a contract with Reiman Corporation for the repairs to the Alcova Bridge along County Road 407 during the October 27th Commissioners meeting.

All those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges filed are subject to change following official filling from Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
In what many consider a blow to the energy industry, President Barack Obama announced that his administration would block the Canada to Mexico Keystone XL Pipeline. While the pipeline would not have come through Wyoming, it could potentially have played a role in more quickly moving Wyoming-drilled crude elsewhere.

A single vehicle crash west of Wright, Wyoming on November 3rd has resulted in the death of 18-year-old Colorado Springs, Colorado resident Megan E. Skinner.
